Tim Voutas Quartet Late Night at His Majesty's

  • His Majesty's Theatre 825 Hay Street Perth, WA, 6000 Australia (map)

The Tim Voutas Quartet was formed in 2016 as a creative outlet for some of Perth’s leading young jazz musicians, based on highly improvised and interactive modern jazz.

Lucy Iffla is an up and comer with a voice that wouldn't be unfair to compare with Ella Fitzgerald. After blowing the crowd away at her guest appearance with Jamie Oehler's blowfish at the end of last year she has been making leaps and bounds with her own group 'The Hook'

Two different shows. Two nights. It is going to be an absolute blast. TVQ on May 4th and with Lucy Iffla on May 5th.

WAYJO has been an absolute machine this year delivering highly entertaining and creative shows. The year started off with a Fringe show titled 'Slap and Tickle' which was nominated for the Arts Editor award. Following this up they put on the exciting show 'Celebrating the greats' where they played the music of Carla Bley and Maria Schneider and coming up in April they will present 'Ladies Sing the Blues' which will be packed with the best singers in Perth to say the least. As if this isn't enough, this year WAYJO is giving back to their band members and giving them an opportunity to perform their own music as the last set for their residency at 'His Majesty's.' They hosted the Matt Smith Experience in March and in AprilAlana Macpherson's Nonet will blow you away.

If you are interested in hearing more you can head on over and have a listen to some music and see what is up.
